Just a suggestion: now that we are moving to Yahoo, we probably have a
facility for storing files online (depending on how Scott sets it up).
Perhaps this would be a good way to disseminate the more didactic portions
of the Freedom discussion? The list could then handle the ensuing
discussion. Also, a new thread for this discussion would be great to make it
easier to reference later.
Thanks!

Rick,

I'm in, too. Special request: Don't skimp on the definitions. My math
background has made me used to a definitions/axioms/theorem ordering. And I
find that with good semantic grounding, I can usually climb Mount Esoterica.
You might start with "Freedom." No one has mentioned whether it's a
concept, a practice, a book, or a product.

Well, that's two 'for' and zero 'against.' Will assume the
silent majority is 'for' (or at least neutral) and proceed.
Many thanks Rick! Glad to see the conversation flowing. Might I suggest
perhaps at most 2-3 "lecture material" type postings in a given week and the
remainder of postings that week might perhaps be replies to questions and
comments? (and obviously pick-up or ease-up the pace based upon feedback
from the resulting 'traffic" :-)
